Shawn & Michael Ride out to meet Mark Boyd at
Paint Gap
Shawn and Michael would ride down the "Wall" and then back up.
As you can see, the road aches like a playground sliding board.
You can't see the bottom until you're in or beyond the "arch".
The downhill can be faster than 60 but you may not live through it.
There's a very sharp curve at the bottom with a home and various animals.
The climb back up is but a quarter mile or so but hits 23%.

 

















But let's start at the beginning.

After a great breakfast we get ready at the bike shop.

 We meet Chris Boone along the way and head to
Loafers Glory, Red Hill, and Green Mountain.


 


Our route forces us ride this beautiful road called Jack's Creek twice.










 Well now we're back to those first 2 pics of the "cap" of the "Wall".

 But after the short ordeal, we're  on our way back to the Bicycle Inn.
 
 We're all in a row wearing BI clothing.


Then we all ate Mexican in Spruce Pine.
It does feel good when we stop.
