This is just one proposal for a route for FestiVelo 2008.
I'd suggest a clockwise direction for this one so as to give more right hand turns.

Also it would give the riders a more direct route back to the start/finish.

Steadman's BBQ House on Eutaw Hiway is very possibly a great rest stop and eatery otherwise.
I'm sure they are open on Friday and Saturday only.
It's a very pretty "old home looking structure" sitting off the road just a bit.
Eutawville is very pretty from the direction the ride would come in and depart.
There is a peanut man that could be persuaded to be at the corner of 311 and County Line Road (59).
It would seem nice to include the Eutawville Battle Ground where Francis Marion fought the British but the traffic is bad on 6.

The best or most fun roads may be toward and away from Eutawville.

The worst roads may be 78 but the ride will only be on 78 for about half a mile.
The first part of 27 from 78 isn't great. There is a bit of traffic until the ride crosses I-26, about a mile.
Hiway 6 isn't a great road but should be okay.
